Never did I think I’d be playing games in any of my classes throughout my college education. Very interesting way of teaching Prof. Croom, I applaud you!

This lesson took my back to the days of playing Oregon Trail in elementary. Those were the good ol’ days when the word “stress” was not part of my vocabulary.

It’s 5:14pm on Wednesday and I’m finishing up assignments that should be done by now.

Grrrrr!  Promise I’ll get the hang of it eventually.

I’m not as computer savvy as I wish I were so for some reason, I wasn’t able to load the “Poster Letter” game but I did play all the others. I had to, just because of who I am.

Laugh all you want but my favorite was “Shoot the serif.” because it reminded me of this game….

I’m pretty sure it was the gun shot sound when you clicked on a letter that brought back that memory. I have 2 older brothers and video games was their life, which means video games was my life as well.

“Type War” left a love/hate feeling. It reminded me of the 845,762,394 many papers I’ve had to write over the past couple of years. I could probably recognize Times New Roman with my eyes closed.

Lastly, here’s a visual of the closest I got to assembling a word on “Kern Type.”

Not too bad huh?!

XOXO
