Typography
The three games I chose to play for the Typography assignment were Shoot the Serif, Type Connection, and Poster Letters. Out of those three, my favorite was Shoot the Serif.
For Shoot the Serif, I played a few times and eventually made it to the Middle-Weight Level. While it was my favorite, eventually I did get bored and decided to move onto the next game. I liked playing this game the most because it got intense when you were running out of time and still had a few letters to find.
The next game I played was Type Connection, which I found the least entertaining out of the three. While it was interesting reading about the different fonts, it just wasn’t as fun as the other games. The last game I chose to play was Poster Letters, which was hands down the most intense and frustrating. Some of the letters were obviously from a specific movie poster, but others were so confusing and tricky that I had to give in and see what the answer was.
Even though the games I played were both tricky and entertaining, I still learned a lot from playing them. Who says homework can’t be fun?
