Typography Games

I Shot the Seriff- This game was fun. I started out by choosing the Junior level and managed to make it to Senior level, unfortunately I made too many mistakes and didn’t pass that level. It became increasingly difficult for me to identify the serif fonts as the number of letters on the screen increased.

Type Connection- I started out with Adobe Garamond Pro, described as “durable and agile, with defined forms” and chose the “embrace the other” strategy. I chose to pair it with Maple, who was described as “robust and chiseled”. I sent them on a date and created a successful match.

Kern Type- I liked this game, mostly because I turned out to be pretty good at it. I enjoyed seeing how a typographer’s distribution compared to mine. There was something really satisfying about moving the letters in a way that looked most appealing to me. My final score was 81/100.
