Walt Disney Company
For my newsletter project, I, for once, stuck with the company I chose at the beginning. I was really excited to work on this project after I realized I could actually do some design techniques and was remembering things from weeks ago. When I first heard that we were going back to in design I was a little bummed because it took me so long last time to complete my business card, and it took me weeks to finally feel like what I was putting out there was something I was proud of. With this project, picking Disney was the first step in the right direction. Some of the Forbes companies were kind of boring, so I continued on my path with all things involving children. It was fun reading about Disney and creating something fun, as opposed to a typical newsletter. I liked that I used color and Mickey Ears to add a little originality and fun into the newsletter. Overall, I’m actually proud of what I did. It was nice finally being able to envision something and create it on my computer. There were obviously a few things that I wasn’t sure how to do, but it wasn’t hard to find sources and videos on the internet. This is something that I’m going to proudly put in my portfolio and say that I created it. I have a lot of room for improvement, but I’ve also been able to see how far I’ve come thus far. I look forward to using InDesign in the future and hopefully being able to put it on my resume as a skill.
Here’s my final project:
