The curious case of potential stakeholders.

For this assignment, I was faced with the task of designing a direct mailer for a specific group of stakeholders I had to identify on my own. I immediately decided I wanted to focus on high school students who had already been accepted by OU– I wanted to put myself in their place and think about what I would have wanted to see in the mail from OU.

My stakeholder for this assignment is going to be high school students who:

• have been accepted by OU
• were involved in organizations in high school
• may be from out of state, but from the U.S.

The goal of my direct mailer will be to showcase a fraction of the over one hundred organizations available on campus. As a freshman, I was too nervous to get involved on campus and waited until my junior year to really get involved, and I want high school kids to know right off the bat how wonderful and easy it is to get involved at OU.
