We’re Getting There

This week in my PR Publications class, I was asked to create a letterhead for an organization that I chose and researched in previous weeks. Also, I was asked to revise a business card I had designed for that organization.

I was fairly happy with my business card and only had a few edits to make. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive any feedback from my peers, aside from a comment on a previous blog post. I’m sure I will receive more feedback soon and will be able to make whatever other changes are necessary. I was only told to make the text bolder and more legible.

For my letterhead, I stuck with the general design of my business card. I used the same wood background, same logo, same fonts and everything. I like when companies have a clear design that can be employed on a variety of different surfaces.

I am pretty happy with how things are looking so far, especially since I am no master at Photoshop and InDesign. I think my designs, while not perfect, do a pretty good job of reflecting the feel and mission of the organization.
