What now, Domain?
Well aubreymdodge.com, I have loved having my own website and learning how to work with it, add gifs to a blog post and everything else that comes with it.
When I was an intern for the Dallas Cowboys training camp, my boss who was quite the talker made sure we knew the importance of having our own website to allow us to network with others and grow into professionals. Honestly, when I first heard him say that I thought, “Who in the world has a website, no one I know.” Oh… the irony that one semester later I am assigned to make my own website and I finally see what he was telling me. I love having my own website and having the ability to brand myself and allow others to see the projects I am so proud in while also being able to present my resume and so much more.
For the future, I think I am going to save my reflection post and chapter summaries so I can always remind myself how much more confident I am in my design skills and restart the website as a whole to revolve around my profession and to show people the projects I have created, the things I can do, and my work experience and probably a contact me page. Almost as if it is a huge version of my resume.
But I would love to make another website just for me, which can allow me to write and express my feelings about my classes and experiences during my last year of college because I think it is something that I will really appreciate having in 10 years so I can look back and see how much fun I had in college and remember what I learned here at the university.
