What Will Happen to My Blog After PR Pubs?

First of all, I want to say that I’ve really enjoyed keeping a blog throughout the process of this class. For most of my life I have kept a journal of some sort as a way of reflecting and looking back. However, since I’ve been in college it has been a little harder for me to want to write in a journal every day after I’ve been writing 20 page papers. Having to keep a blog for this class reminded me how much I love writing for myself and how therapeutic the process of writing is for me.

I have also been wanting to get into blogging for a while, and I think this class made me more inspired to do so. Even though I’ve had a blog for a few years, I had never even posted on it until this semester. Now, as I study abroad next semester I know how important a blog will be in recording my trip for myself and others to be able to read.

As far as this blog goes, I am not sure what will happen to it. I currently have another blog which I have set up for my time abroad that I plan to use to blog about my experiences. As I begin to look for jobs and furthering my career over the next year or so, I may use this space for more professional purposes, as a way to showcase my work and to give future employers a glimpse at who I am.

Either way, I am thankful for the experience of blogging this semester because it has inspired me to keep it up, even if it is just for my own personal reasons. I know that at least one of my blogs will continue to be updated after this class is over.
