What’s the differnce between Verdana and Helvetica Neue? No, Really

As part of an assignment I was told to play a few games that would teach me about type face and fonts. I have to admit, I may have spent the most on this one called Typewar called Typewar. It turned out really frustrating because even though I reached level 10 I could not figure out the difference between Verdana and Helvetica Neue. Eventually I started choosing the right one but I don’t think I could really explain what it is that’s different about them.

My favorite part of this, besides getting to play a game as part of an assignment, was finding type faces that I really like and intend to try to incorporate in some of my work and figure out all the type fonts that fall within those families. Going forward, I will probably refer back to some of these games for a quick refresher.
