Woohoo! A complete project! — 2.3 Reflection

This week was a continuation from last week where we began designing a business card for an organization of our choosing. We were asked to continue revising our business card design after receiving both instructor and peer feedback and to create a coordinating letterhead.

I was pretty excited to continue working on my design. Feedback from my peers was soooooooo helpful–I can’t emphasize that enough. They were able to pinpoint the little flaws in my design that my tired eyes alone couldn’t quite pick out.

I’m actually pretty pleased with my final design. I feel like the two pieces go together pretty nicely and actually resemble the design I had in my head.

I think I feel that way because I am slowly becoming more comfortable with Photoshop and InDesign. I didn’t have to rematch any tutorials this time –a sure sign that I am actually learning some of this stuff! Ideally, if I were going to pitch this design to the organization, I’d like for it to undergo some more peer review just to further distill a clear, cohesive design
