This project has definitely been my favorite so far! We were asked to create stakeholders, which i have previously learned about in other classes, and create a direct mailer for each of the 2. I started off with something very basic, plane jane, and ended up changing the front part of both mailers. I felt like having a strong visual… Read more →
This chapter was all about PERSONALITY Everyone has a personality. That is a huge part of what makes someone unique! The chapter states, “Personalities foster friendships and serve as the platform for emotional connections.” When you meet someone new you don’t think, “Wow their personality is connecting with mine” or “We are starting a relationship … Continue reading “Designing for Emotion – Chapter 3”
For the Design Project #2 we were asked to create two direct mailers for stakeholders of OU. We were asked to define our stakeholders and create the direct mailers to appeal to that specific audience. I responded well to what we were asked to do although it was difficult to jump back into things right … Continue reading Reflection
For the direct mailer design project, we were asked to target a specific public with our designs. immediately after reading this I though about my own personal motivations to attend OU. First defining our stakeholders, then actually creating the front and the back of the mailers. At this point in the PR pubs course, I’m gotten used to what we are asked to do. […]

The piece would go in depth on the top teams in the West, including Thunder, Golden State, the … Continue reading PR Writing: Identifying opportunities →
Takeaway 1: Op-ed articles: This topic was new to me. However, it opened up a new perspective for me. The way the textbook describes it is as a longer version of a letter where you can go into more detail. I think that is an important tool because whenever I compose a usual email/ letter … Continue reading “PR WRITING: Chapter 12 Response”
