Hello Lovely Viewers, This week we went over stakeholder publics and how to generate and maintain positive relationships with them. Our client for this lesson, and future lessons, is OU Recruitment Services! So with a college recruitment service, one automatically thinks of high school students searching for a college. However, there are multiple types of stakeholders for …
The topic that stood out to me the most while reading the assigned chapter was on pages 3 and 4 when the author talked about online personality. Before social media, the Internet was a very formal and professional place. Now, people fight, joke and monitor fights between dog and goat Twitter accounts (this is what I did last … Continue reading Designing for Emotion: Ch. 1
This week we began reading Designing for Emotion by, Aarron Walter and in the first chapter I found that there were some ideas that I agreed and disagreed with. During this chapter I came to realize that I agreed with Abraham Maslov’s hierarchy of needs example. It just seems plausible to me in my life and … Continue reading “PR PUBS: Designing for Emotion – Chapter 1”
When thinking about which public I wanted to target, I thought back to my own experience choosing a college only 2 years ago. For me, the biggest determining factor in choosing OU was financial. Because the factors were mostly financial, my parents had a large part in determining that I would go to OU. As […]

It involves choosing and analyzing two separate stakeholders through completing a segmentation matrix and then making two different Direct Mailers one for each stakeholder. For my first stakeholder, it is the prospective OU student, 16-18 years of age, ACT/SAT accepted scores, Top 10% of class, Income: $100,000+, and … Continue reading “Stakeholder numero uno”
In Chapter 1, Designing for Emotion, I agreed with most everything I read. I agree that (what I think is obvious) the Internet has become way more user friendly, personalized, and social (not only for business/work). People are now talking to each other on social media like messages on Facebook rather than a personal email. … Continue reading “Designing for Emotion”
